Salt and Pepper shakers? No, they are the old insulators from power lines. They make great paper weights. We found these on one of our country trips in an old barn.
Now this one really got me. There is no way I would have guessed what they are. Thank you so much for joining in Tuesday Treasures, it is very much appreciated.

Wow, they are beautiful, I have only ever seen old brown ceramic ones but have never managed to get my hands on any.

I love your old insulators. I see that one is "Agee" brand, the same company that made so many preserving jars. I fun item to find on your travels.

I bet they are really, really old. I think glass probably started out as clear and changed colour in the sun due to the minerals in the glass.

A great use for the insulators. I have some but have them in the garden.
Happy days.
