Tuesday’s Treasure – School Badges

Mar 14, 2011 by quiltjane 10 Comments

My eldest son was looking through my box of treasures, trinkets really, that I have kept from my childhood. He discovered three of my school badges. I had forgotten they were there.

Perfect ( I mean Prefect ) and Vice Captain ( Captain of Vice) Badges from Secondary School

They are great. My badges look just the same with our school colours.

Great treasure. Will it inspire your son to head in mum's footsteps?

    What a special treasure.
I never had anything like that but my son and I went through my Dad's trinkets only last weekend. Among other things we found penny's. That was an interesting conversation. My son seems to think they are Jurassic 🙂
    Wonderful treasures.

And all this time I thought a prefect was just a made up name in Harry Potter. Thanks for enlightening me.
