Travel with the Gnomes – Part 1

It’s a little-known fact that gnomes love to travel. Pat Sloan packed Norm off to tour the world with only the clothes he was made with and the anticipation of exploring new worlds. His first stop was Melbourne, Australia care of USPS airlines. Flying business class, he landed at Tullamarine airport and was greeted by Kendall Taylor who showed him the sights of Melbourne. Norm then met Nanette and shared a romantic first date. Norm and Nanette have been secretly exchanging conversations for some time. The allure of being in such a beautiful city inspired Norm to declare his undying love for Nanette and propose. The lovers were married in a small ceremony in St Patrick’s cathedral. I do love a good Gnomance.

The next leg of their journey began travelling by AusPost Express Airlines (APEA) to visit sunny Queensland and start their Aussie honeymoon. No sooner had they emerged from their postpak, Nanette asked where the nearest fabric shop was located. Detouring from the airport we arrived at Butterfly Stitches at Albany Creek where patient Norm chilled on the bench seat while Nanette perused the shelves for fabric bargains. To Norm’s relief, Nanette left with a modest amount of fabric to add to her gnomungus stash.

Exhausted, Norm and Nanette travelled to their AirBnB and retired by the pool with Gnomatinis.
