The Desperate Housewife’s Quilt Week 49 – Star Jumps
Welcome to week 49 of the ‘The Desperate Housewife’s Quilt’. Todays block is about Foundation Pieceing. Remember, this is not a quilt-a-long. Just follow the blog every week and pick and choose which blocks you would like to make. I will be injecting some uniqueness into traditional blocks, applique, three dimensional, crazy and thread-art blocks. If you make a block please post it on the Flickr group for everyone to enjoy. Also, I have this nifty button under each post that allows you to save the post as a PDF.

Be sure to visit this week’s Guest Blogger and their wonderful block.
(N.B Due to the differences in time and date zones, the guest blogger’s block may not appear at the time of the initial posting)
This week I have Hollie Lobosky from The Undercover Crafter and Mary Anne Drury from Moon Beams in a Jar. Hollie has made a fabulous improvised block, ‘Shattered Glass’ using the slash technique and Mary Anne has made a delightful ‘House for Sale‘ block using appliqué, piecing and a little embroidery.
