Bali Pop Quilts
Currently, I am making a quilt for Charity function to raffle. I used a Bali Pop to create a small lap quilt, which I named “Sky, Earth and Sea” because of the blues, flowing into greens flowing into brick colours. I am going to applique some purple butterflies onto the quilt to give it some movement.
The name of the Bali Pop used was Spumoni. Bali Pops are very deceiving at first glance but when you unravel them and place them in like colours, a whole world of opportunities arises.
Two quick baby quilts I made for our local fete were from the one Bali Pop. I divided the strips into cool and warm.
I used a decorative stitch as the quilting stitch along every row.
