Jacob’s Ladder Fun Sew Along
As part of the “Classic and Vintage” series, Fat Quarter Shop are releasing their Jacob’s Ladder pattern. An oldie but a goodie! I love the pattern a group of blocks make. This quilt has endless fabric options – scrappy, two-tone, reverse the background and foreground fabrics …. A great beginner block.
Grab a free block here.
For my version I made a four block scrappy mini using F8 pieces of the Bonnie and Camille Handmade Collection. By making the block scrappy you can see a star emerging from the centre of the design.
Quilted with Aurifil 2024 white 50wt thread using a traditional feather pattern.
Download your block today and sew-a-long with the #fqsfun.

Jane I can’t thank you enough for all your work with Pat Sloan in the Splendid Sampler!! I love it. I hope one day in the near future I can do this Jacob’s Ladder, with you. It is indeed beautiful in the scrappy, and I particularly love the Bonnie and Camille fabric! Again congrats on the Sampler work!!
