Heartfelt Quilt Along – Fabric Requirements

Over at the Jolly Jabber (Fat quarter blog) you can find all the information and important downloads to get started on your requirements for this years charity sew-along.

You can find the downloadable fabric requirement sheet with a colouring option here or if you prefer cross-stitch, there is a supply list and thread and notion options here.

The display quilt is made with Beautiful Day by Corey Yoder for Moda and can be pre-ordered here. I will be using the ombre rainbow of scrumptiousness, Ombre Fairy Dust Metallics by V and Co for Moda. I think it will give the perfect burst of colour for this gorgeous pattern.

A block set will be released each month from February to September 2022 with a few of your favourite designers sharing their blocks and heartfelt stories. Share your progress using #HeartfeltQAL #fatquartershop

Sew along with us and make a difference in a child’s life by donating to the charity.

The children’s make a wish foundation brings joy to children dealing with suffering in their lives.

“Our Heartfelt Quilt and Cross Stitch Chart benefit Make-a-Wish Central & South Texas.

As we embark on our 9th Annual Charity Quilt we continue to be amazed by the generosity of this sewing community and inspired by the stories of the children who have been granted life-changing Wishes. The way the fundraiser works is that we offer the Heartfelt patterns as FREE downloads during the event for a suggested donation of $5 each to our Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas campaign. Or feel free to make a larger, one-time donation of $50. No amount is too small and every bit counts. From February to September, we will publish a new pattern on the Heartfelt Announcement blog on the 1st Friday of each month. Fatquartershop.

I used the fairy dust bundle for a 100 Blocks in 100 Days QAL. The bundle had been sitting on my shelf for a while and it was perfect for those blocks. I have another bundle (a gift) of the same fabric and I’m just waiting for the second perfect project. Can’t wait to see your blocks.
