Chloe’s Pillow

Mar 22, 2011 by quiltjane 4 Comments

My lovely neighbour Chloe, had to make a pillow for Home Ec. Chloe raided my stash and selected some charms from Half Moon and complemented the black and white with a Moda solid, Magenta. It looks fabulous. I will make a quilter out of Chloe yet!

It's great how such a simple design can look so wonderful with the right fabric choice.

Well done Chloe! I still have the first patchwork cushion I did, which was a home ec job at school too. It was hand pieced and most of the fabric has worn along the seams, but I'm going to see what I can do to repair it, or maybe pull it apart and use the good bits to remake it into something else.

    She did a beautiful job!
We have to teach these younger ones if we want quilting to stay alive as an art.
