Caffeine Carpet for a Friend

Apr 12, 2011 by quiltjane 3 Comments

Tomorrow I am attending a birthday lunch for a friend and to celebrate the occasion, I made this simple Mug Rug (aka Caffeine Carpet).

I used some Alexander Henry ‘Dasha’ fabrics and appliqued a large flower from one of the collection onto some Kaufman Linen. I am in love with the Kaufman linens at the moment. They are beautiful to sew with and they are great for backgrounds or adding textures to solid fabric projects.
