The Pink Quilt

Introducing my new pattern – The Pink Quilt. Well, it’s not really new but I always wanted to make my Crashing waves quilt in solids, especially pink grunge.

Crashing waves was designed in 2015 and made into a kit for Frances Newcombe and my first collection, Manderley with Moda United Notions.

I love this pattern as it is only one 12″ block that can be rotated to make many designs.
Experiment with colour placement and explore the endless possibilities that this simple design creates.

The block pattern uses easy piecing techniques and is suitable for confident beginners and beyond. No templates involved.

The pattern can be purchased here.

The fabrics used in this quilt were collected from Fatquartershop, and Fifi’s fabricology (AUS).
Quilted with Aurifil pinks 2423 and 2410, 50wt cotton.

I would love to see this quilt in many more colourways. What fabrics would you use? Don’t forget to use the hashtags #thepinkquilt #quiltjane so I can see your wonderful creations.
