Amy from Badskirt has tempted me with review on this book – Patchwork 163. While it is written in Japanese, it still has easy to follow pictures and diagrams to draft or resize the blocks. As they say,”A picture is worth a thousand words”.

Love this flower |
Thank you Amy for the heads up. Ordered it only three days ago and it arrived this morning. This will be my reading selection for tonight. Better I think than ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ which for the naive sounds like a modern quilting book based on mono tonal fabrics.
I've ordered it too Jane, I cannot wait to get it. What will you make first?! xo
I love the dresden plate block. The petals are nice and chubby and look fairly easy to construct.
I'm so jealous! I may have to ask for it for Christmas.
Certainly does look fabulous.
Oooh! Lots of lovelies in this one! I think its going on my list!
I was this too! Was so tempted!
love the blocks, cute flower!!
I love your "Fifty Shades of Grey" joke! Too cute!
I have just ordered it as well. I know I shouldn't have but I really want it.
you're right a beautiful book!
