OOh, I saw this on the Free Spirit blog this morning but didnt' realize it was your design–it's fabulous! I was looking to see if there was an EQ7 rendering of multiple blocks together–I'd like to see the secondary designs. It looks like there might be diamonds so how about Starlit Diamonds for a name?
B Greene
I think I would name a block Norphastaria in honor of a kindergartener at my last school. I am so glad I named my son Andy – that is all he could handle when learning to write – ha ha!! Thanks for the chance to win this fabulous charm pack!!
Fiesta
Across the sky. Thank you for the chance to win.

Tough question – ummmmm. I haven't yet designed one, and can't for the life of me be clever right now!

OOh that's easy. If I were to create a star block it would be named after my newest Granddaughter who just turned 5 months old. It would be named "Alexia's Star".
Great block you've created. Thank you.

Julie
I am absolutely no good with naming anything !!! Even my pets have such bland names!!! I would pick something like sunshine star or starburst star — those two names really pop out at me ๐
Laura
I guess I would name it Gabi's Star since my 7 year old keeps telling me she wants to be a star but can't because she has stage fright.
Janet
Hmm… there are so many star blocks and many names are already in use. How about Alpha Centauri… Of course the block would have to reflect the splendour of the sun as does the real star.
Homemaker Honey
Razzle Dazzle – sounds like a good star quilt block name to me.

Thanks for engaging my brain. I went through a few iterations and ended with 'Star-til Sunrise', which can be either 'Star until Sunrise' or 'Startle Sunrise'. And now … the actual design…hmmmm??
Melody
It would be so exciting to have a little Matilda star twinkling away – named after my little poodle of course.
Kimberly Cassie
How about Star Power? Great question…I'm sure it will be on my mind for a while. I love your block…modern and feastive. Thanks for sharing your block and the giveaway!

When I first opened the email I looked and thought it was beautiful and i have no idea how I can make it!!! I still have to finish block 8. Your tutorial though looks fantastic and after reading it I feel less worried about having a go. Now I am off to hunt through my fabrics as I am feeling excited about making this!!!
Jo
A tricky one that one. I think maybe Wonder-star. The theme of stars conjure the image of unknown and curiosity to me. I like the block, but I am glad I'm a little behind on the QAL as this one looks like it may be a challenge!

Your block is really cool! It reminds me of a kaleidescope.
I'm too new to be designing anything. lol. I'd probably call it something like Starry Nights or Stars in the Heavens. Depends on what fabric I was using, probably!
