Modern Christmas Runner

Aug 24, 2011 by quiltjane 7 Comments

Last night I whipped up a simple Christmas table runner using Basic Grey Christmas prints and their wonderful grunge solids. The stars were cut with my GO!, fused and appliquéd to the background. I used a quilting design called Snow Play because it had snowflakes ( which I love ).

It is now on its way to a little school fair down south.

I love your fabric with the green snowflakes. Your table runner is awesome, and it's hard to believe you got it whipped up all in one evening. You did EVERYTHING in one evening? Cutting, piecing, quilting, binding, everything? Awesome. That gives a a lot of hope to a beginning quilter like me.

I love this table runner! Your design is wonderful. I have several of the grunge solids in my online shop (that go with the Max & Whiskers line)…this might get me thinking "outside the box" for ways to use them!
