Birthdays – The Generosity of Friends
I did my usual run to the local Post Office today and made sure the whole of the Coles shopping centre knew it was my birthday. Jason at the check-outs made a store wide announcement, our resident musician, Michael Mangan sang me Happy Birthday at the check-out, the beautiful lady at the coffee shop gave me some flowers and the post office handed me a bag of parcels and envelopes full of birthday surprises. One of which was this exquisite wall hanging from my blogging friend Anorina (Samelias Mum). Totally unexpected but greatly treasured because I know this was a special design. Thank you Anorina.
Birthdays are fun and should be celebrated in a big way. It’s only morning here and I have the rest of the day to enjoy the day I was born with my family and friends.

Happy, happy day! Michael Mangan hey! I am impressed! (I'm a teacher in a Catholic school so I know his work!) Lucky girl – the wall hanging is beautiful! Continue to enjoy your special day until next year!
