Makin’ it Cute ( or should we say, “too cute”)

The dynamic duo at Me and My Sister and the It’s Sew Emma team have designed and packaged this really cute notion, called Makin’ it Cute.
The Petal Pack comes with 3 different flower templates, centre circle, a leaf template and clear instructions on how to make your own cute flowers.
Taking my Japanese fabrics from the sacred stash, I immediately thought I could use these fabric flowers to dress up my denim skirt. The fabric was perfect for fussy cutting the flowers.
I made three flowers, 2 for the belt and one for the back pocket using the small flower template and centre circle. I used Aurifil invisible thread for the flowers to secure the three layers and Aurifil 12wt cotton to attach the button to the centre of each flower.
