The Splendid Sampler Celebration Giveaway
One year ago, Pat Sloan and I launched the Splendid Sampler™. To celebrate this quilt-storic event we are having a giveaway. There are some great prizes up for grabs from our sponsors and designers. Visit each of their sites to join in.
To enter the competition visit our Splendid Sampler site and add a photo of your blocks with your country and a brief paragraph on what you have learned from the Splendid Sampler sew-a-long.

Thank you so much Jane. It was a fabulous year and I learnt SO much! Given I’d only begun to sew/quilt 13 months ago due to a marvelous prezzie from my husband, there was much to learn! As the year progressed, I’m not sure he thought it was such a good idea as he hadn’t seen much of me…. lol. I loved the whole project, every block, every new technique, playing with fabrics, marveling at the awesome creativity of the Splenderettes and Splenderhims, as well as the wonderful generosity of all the designers blocks, their blog hints and even encouraging comments on our blocks! What a thrill I also received when I’d get a ‘like’, ‘love’ or comment from either Pat or yourself on my block! I’ve had an absolute blast and am looking forward to now sewing all 110 blocks I made into a fabulous quilt. XXX

Jane…what an amazing year and project you and Pat created! I joined to sharpenen skills and learn new ones
I discovered how much I love paper piecing and my 1/4″ seam has become precise! I also sharpened my embroidery skills and love adding a touch to some of my blocks.
And ohhhh…the new friends from near and far…definitely my favorite part!! Cant wait to continue this journey❤
